The Civil Process Division is responsible for processing and serving civil action papers received from any court of record, in accordance with South Carolina State Law and Departmental policy. These papers include, but are not limited to, Child Support, Divorce, Summons and Complaints, Subpoenas, and Writs of Possessions.
Sheriff Service Fees:
Summons and Complaint $15.00
Any other type of paper $15.00
Writs/Judgments/Executions $25.00
Please include a Sheriff's Entry of Service form, the case paperwork, a self-addressed stamped envelope, as well as service fees. Fees can be paid by a company check or money order made out to Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
